New this year! The Colorado Public Health Association, in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) Prevention Services Division, is offering a free pre-conference workshop for Colorado’s public health professionals on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Keystone Lodge & Conference Center. We invite you to participate in Colorado’s planning process for chronic disease prevention and management where participants will have a chance to learn how the statewide chronic disease programs out of CDPHE currently prioritize their efforts, the means by which they track progress and hold themselves accountable, and how the existing state chronic disease plan informs existing efforts out of CDPHE and the statewide Amendment 35 grant programs such as the Cancer, Cardiovascular, and Pulmonary Disease Grants and Tobacco Prevention and Control Grants.  Participants will be invited to share their ideas for future directions and interventions in chronic disease.

Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon refreshments will be served.
