WHAT IS THE IGNITE SESSION?
This format of “learning” has been spreading across the country and even the world. Encapsulated in the Ignite motto “enlighten us, but make it quick,” each talk is exactly five minutes long. Ignite presenters share their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds.
Please submit the Ignite submission below, detailing your ideas for an Ignite presentation. Presenters talk on any subject related to their life or work: something they are personally or professionally passionate about. It does not have to be public health related or tied to research. Please submit a title and one-paragraph abstract along with speaker contact information.
Examples of Ignite sessions:
– 4 Lessons in Falling Down
– A Dog Discovers Denver: How Neighborhoods Impact Health
– A Public Health Planner’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
– Hug a Health Professional
– Public Health: Perceptions and Reflections
– How to Move an Elephant
– Be a Pack Leader
– Walk This Way
Sponsored by the Colorado Society for Public Health Education (COSOPHE).
